Wraps allow individuals to partially or fully design the exterior of their vehicles with the use of a vinyl adhesive material. We use only the highest-quality vinyls at BGS Custom Wraps including 3M, Arlon, and Oracle, and more. Wraps give you a unique look that stands out against a regular paint job. Wraps can come in different colors, finishes, glosses, and any design you can imagine.

There are various advantages to wrapping your vehicle. One advantage includes that a wrap helps protect your vehicle’s paint from chipping, scratching, and fading from the sun. The paint doesn’t get wet every time it rains. Dirty road grime doesn’t dry on the paint and oxidize making the paint feel rough even when it’s clean. The front of the car is protected from sand being kicked up by the traffic in from of you while driving.
With the paint of your car being protected, the resale value of your vehicle will be preserved and you will not have to worry about the cost of fixing any damaged paint details.
Wraps also allow you to change the color or look of your vehicle without worrying about diminishing the value of your vehicle due to replacing its factory paint job. If there is a certain vehicle you want but it doesn’t come in the color you are looking for, wraps allow you to achieve that look without changing your paint job!
Advertising is also another common reason for wanting a wrap. Many companies want to put their image larger than life on company vehicles whether it is sales personnel, delivery cars, vans, box trucks, or semi’s. With large-format printing and high-definition imagery, the possibilities are endless!

A full wrap is going to cover the vast majority of your vehicle, no matter if it is a car, truck, boat, motor cycle, RV, etcetera. A partial wrap on the other hand only covers a portion of the vehicle normally ranging between 25 to 75%. A partial wrap may only be applied to bumpers, grills, windows, and select panels for example.

There are many differences between wrap materials. Some of the basics are appearance. For starters, you can choose the sheen or the finish of the material. They are Matte, Satin, and Gloss. You can also choose a material that has Metal Flake. Some brands have different size metal flakes and different colors of material and false. For the wraps that are printed, there is a metal flake over the laminate that gives the printed colors a chance to sparkle in the sun.
The Difference Between Color Change and Printed Vinyl: Color change vinyl is a manufactured material made to cover large areas to change color. Printed material is made to accept ink into the material and be laminated with a UV-resistant, scratch-resistant, self-healing protective layer. The UV protection helps reduce fading of colors and the abuse from the sun on the material itself and gives it a long-lasting shine for the life of the wrap.
Other differences are quality and performance. Quality falls into two places when it comes to vehicle wraps, but at the same time comes hand and hand with performance. With quality material comes quality workmanship and the end result is a great-looking wrap that will perform as it was intended for the life of the wrap.

Gloss Finishes: You can use normal light wax-free car wash detergents. Wash in a cool, shaded area. Do not wash when the surface is hot and in the sun. You will notice bugs do not stick to gloss material as much as they do to paint. As with anything, you do not want bugs to stay on the surface to let dry and decay. If you have a muddy, heavily soiled mess, rinse dirt and debris with a hose thoroughly and wash normally. You can use a light spray wax and wipe on gloss finish vinyl to give it the extra shine.
Satin and Matte Finishes: For light cleaning, there is a Matte and Satin daily cleaner you spray on and wipe off. Hand wash only in a cool, shaded area with a non-wax Matte Finish detergent. Dry with a microfiber towel to prevent water spotting. Avoid scrubbing to prevent glossing the Matte finish. DO NOT WIPE DRY!

Yes, wraps can be changed and/or removed! We recommend that you bring your vehicle into BGS Custom Wraps rather than trying to remove it on your own as it could lead to paint damage if done incorrectly.

Numerous variables play into the cost of your wrap. Some to consider is the type of vinyl that is chosen to use and the size of your vehicle. Another variable includes the make of the vehicle. Some vehicles need to be taken apart more than others. The color you want to wrap your vehicle in and the current color of your vehicle also plays into the cost. For example, if you have a white car and want to wrap it in black, it takes a lot more time to do than if you were to have a dark-colored car already. Whether or not you want printed and/or design time as well as how many changes, revisions, and/or add-ons are made are also large factors in the price. The best way BGS Custom Wraps can give you a more accurate price is to contact us today for a quote and to speak with our design team!

BGS Custom Wraps will need a vehicle for a minimum of four days.
Day 1: Hand wash and detail the exterior. This is to be sure all toxins, oxidations, waxes, and oils are removed from the surfaces. Rubber gaskets around windows, door seals, hood, and rear hatch or trunks are cleaned thoroughly to ensure no sand, dirt, or debris can interfere with the installation. BGS Custom Wraps will disassemble anything needed to achieve the highest quality of installation on the first day.
Day 2: Wipe down each panel with isopropyl alcohol before the immediate installation of material to reduce contamination of any dust, debris, or fingerprints. Post heating any areas where stretching or conforming and all edges upon installation per panel.
Day 3: Finishing installing vinyl and reassembling. Inspect all edges, seams, and surfaces for a sure bond. Let the vehicle set in a temperature-controlled environment overnight.
Day 4: Final inspection, wipe down including windows cleaned inside and out and then reveal to the customer!

You can wrap a vehicle with paint scratches and dents. BGS Custom Wraps suggest that you repair any deep scratches and dents before having a vehicle wrapped as the end product will look cleaner without any blemishes. When dealing with rust, it is best to sand down the affected areas before application.
